New Catalog Blog Hop

Welcome to my blog! Today is our first ever Go Stamp It blog hop and we are very excited to show you products from the new Stampin' Up! catalog. Please leave me a comment below and tell me what you think of my cards today!

You should have hopped over from Caren Curtis' blog. Here is my project:

So I could not decide which one of these projects to show everybody so I thought I would post both! The first is a mini z-fold card using a few of the new In Colors (Baked Brown Sugar, Coastal Cabana, and Crisp Cantaloupe) along with some Stampin' Up! Champagne Glimmer Paper. The base of the card was stamped using the new Mosaic Madness stamp set in Baked Brown Sugar ink. Slide the belly band off and there is room for a quick note inside!

The next card I made was inspired by the one in the new Stampin' Up! catalog on page 72. Here is my own take using the new In Colors Pistachio Pudding and Strawberry Slush, and also a never before seen color, Smokey Slate. The sentiment can easily be switched out for a wedding, anniversary, or thinking of you. I used the same stamp from the mini z-fold card, but I cropped the mosaics out using the coordinating Mosaic punch. Stampin' Up! Rhinestones add just enough sparkle to this simple card.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my projects add how versatile these stamp sets can be. Leave me a comment below and then hop on over to Samantha Brown's Blog!

Mosaic Madness Card

Today's card features a few of the new In Colors from the 2013-2014 Stampin' Up! catalog. I used Crisp Cantaloupe, Coastal Cabana, and Baked Brown Sugar. Creating a mosaic pattern has never been easier, and with the coordinating stamp and mosaic punch, this card only took a few minutes to make.

I absolutely love the stamp set Fabulous Phrases which is where I found the friend sentiment from. I stamped it in Strawberry Slush, also a new In Color. The rhinestones in the center of each mosaic piece add some extra sparkle to this card.

Friend Card with Retiring In Colors

With only a few supplies, I put this card together in no time at all. I used my Simply Scoring Tool to add lines to the Crumb Cake card base.

The friend stamp came from the Fabulous Phrases stamp set, also one of my go-to stamp sets.

This gorgeous flower was made by layering pieces of Island Indigo and Pool Party cardstock, which I stamped in the same color on each using the Mixed Bunch stamp set, and then cropped with the Blossom Punch. The Calypso Coral layer was created using the smallest flower in the Floral Frames Framelits Dies and Calypso Coral Designer Series Paper. I also used the same sheet of 12x12 paper to make a coordinating envelope. The center is a Vintage Faceted Button with some linen thread.

Sunshine and Sprinkles Card

This card is perfect for someone needing a pick-me-up! This fun designer series paper Sunshine and Sprinkles has lots of bold and fun prints that will add splashes of vibrant colors to any project.

The Striped Organdy Ribbon in Marina Mist adds a soft touch to this card. It also comes in Old Olive and Melon Mambo.

One of my favorite greeting stamp sets is Friendly Phrases used here on this card. I love the font with this paper!
